Privacy Policy
Effective: August 13, 2026. Last updated: September 8, 2026. Operator: Change2Me L.L.C., a Wyoming limited liability company (consumer brand €2$). Contact: hello@change2me.com. Records address: 6107 Martin Heights Drive, Young Harris, GA 30582, USA.
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and how you can ask questions or request access/deletion. It is written for a small travel software business. It is not legal advice to you.
1. What Change2Me is
Handshake (Free) is a bilingual cash calculator for Cost, Tendered, and Change. Tally Pro is an optional paid subscription that adds the Tally receipt / line-item builder and turns off our Free-plan travel ads when your subscription is active.
2. Information we collect
On your device (local)
- Plan / language / UI preferences and similar settings stored in browser storage (for example localStorage).
- Session values you type for a handshake (cost, tendered, currencies) — typically kept on-device for the session and not required for us to complete a cash deal with a merchant.
If you create an account
- Email address and password (password stored as a secure hash, not as plain text).
- Account and subscription status we need to know whether Tally Pro is active (for example status mirrored from billing events).
- Optional identifiers from our payment partner (such as a Paddle customer id) so renewals and support can be matched to your account.
When you buy Tally Pro
Paid checkout is processed by Paddle as merchant of record. Paddle collects and processes payment card / wallet data and related billing information under Paddle’s Privacy Policy. We do not store full card numbers on Change2Me servers.
Technical and security logs
- Standard server logs (for example IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for security, abuse prevention, and reliability.
- Webhook / event identifiers from Paddle so we can apply subscription changes once and avoid duplicate updates.
Approximate location or currency defaults
If we detect locale, currency, or coarse location, it is to set useful defaults for travel math — not to build or sell an advertising profile about you.
3. How we use information
- Provide Handshake and Tally, keep you signed in, and show the correct Free vs Pro experience.
- Process and fulfill subscriptions (via Paddle), send transactional notices about your account or billing when needed.
- Secure the service, prevent fraud, and debug outages.
- Improve product quality using aggregated or de-identified signals where practical.
- Comply with law and respond to valid legal requests.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Ads on the Free plan
Handshake Free may show G-rated travel-related ads (for example through Google AdSense, affiliates, or similar partners). Those partners may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. When your Tally Pro subscription is active, we turn off those Free-plan ad placements in the product surfaces we control.
5. Accounts, devices, and app versions
Personal Pro is intended for individual use. We may associate Pro access with your account and, over time, with a limited number of devices or sessions, and we may require a supported minimum app/web version for security and billing integrity. We will describe material device or version rules in-product or in the Terms when they apply.
6. Who we share with
- Paddle — payments, invoices, taxes as MoR, refunds, and customer billing support.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers that run change2me.com.
- Ad / affiliate partners on Free (as above).
- Professional advisors or authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
Parent company nCode LLC may receive limited administrative access for support and compliance because Change2Me L.L.C. is its wholly owned subsidiary — not for selling your data.
7. Retention
Account and subscription records are kept while your account is open and for a reasonable period afterward for billing disputes, fraud prevention, and legal retention. Local device data remains until you clear site data or uninstall. Paddle retains payment records under its own retention rules.
8. Security
We use HTTPS and industry-typical safeguards for a small SaaS site. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. Use a unique password and protect your email inbox (password resets and receipts go there).
9. Your choices and requests
- Update or delete local preferences by clearing site data in your browser.
- Cancel Pro renewals through Paddle’s receipt / customer portal links (see Refunds).
- Email hello@change2me.com to request access, correction, or deletion of account data we hold. We may need to verify the request and retain limited records where the law requires.
If you are in a region with specific privacy rights (for example EEA/UK), contact us at the same address and we will respond in good faith. A full cookie consent manager may be added as we expand advertising; until then we keep Free ads travel-focused and minimize profiling claims.
10. Children
Change2Me is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. International users
We operate from the United States. If you use Change2Me from another country, your information may be processed in the U.S. and in countries where our providers (including Paddle) operate.
12. Changes
We may update this policy as the product, billing, or ads stack changes. The “Effective” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy, except where local law requires a different process.
